The Language materials in the IC environment help children establish abstract concepts through a series of steps.

Initially, real objects are used to let children perceive sensory characteristics;

subsequently, replicas are provided for children to recall the features of the objects, achieving a transition from concrete to abstract.

Next, language cards are used to replace three-dimensional objects, and children need to recall various aspects of the objects.

Afterwards, books are introduced, starting with combinations of cards to teach children how to turn pages, and gradually names are added below the images, so that children can understand that images and words have the same meaning. This process is similar to the combination of real objects and spoken language, helping children understand the connection between symbols and physical objects.

The following question-and-answer session requires children to listen to others' questions, analyze and understand them, then seek relevant information from their own experience, integrate it, and finally give answers, which promotes the development of children's thinking and analysis skills.
